I was part of a small team that worked to quickly design, develop, and fabricate a novel surgical trainer as part of a Crisis Resource Management (CRM) simulation scenario over the course of 6 weeks. Mariah Latshaw was responsible for anatomical segmentation, Mike Silver designed many of the trainer components, did all the organic modeling, and designed some of the molds. Francis Darmont Araya designed some of the molds and fabricated components. I contributed to the overall trainer architecture and designed multiple molds (kidney, bladder, and surrounding muscle tissue background).
